This privacy notice explains how PACE ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit this site, buy at a venue running PACE, or talk to us as a partner. We want you to understand how your information is used, and this covers the parts that matter.

We collect information in three ways.
Information you give us
If you contact us, join the mailing list, or enquire about bringing PACE to a venue, you may give us your name, your email address, the organisation you represent, and whatever else you choose to write. We use it to answer you and to provide what you asked for.
Information from a purchase at a venue
When you buy at a venue running PACE we process the order itself: what was bought, when, at which pickup point, and for how much. Card details go directly to our payment provider and are never stored on our systems — we receive a token and the last four digits, which is what lets us match a refund to an order.
Information collected automatically
Visiting the site leaves a trace through cookies and similar technologies:
We process information to run and improve the service, to complete and support a purchase, to talk to you, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with the law. We only process it where we have a valid legal reason to.
We may also process it for other purposes with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
PACE operates in the EU, so the General Data Protection Regulation requires us to name the bases we rely on:
Payments are handled by a licensed payment service provider. Your card number never reaches PACE: the provider captures it, and we hold a token, the card brand, the last four digits, and whether the authorisation succeeded.
That is enough to show you the order, issue a refund, and reconcile with the venue. It is not enough to charge the card again outside the flow you started.
We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, to remember your preferences, and to understand how it is used. Alongside cookies we may use pixels and analytics tools to measure performance. Our cookie policy sets out what is used and how to control it.
We do not sell your personal information.
We share it with the processors that make the service work — our payment provider, our hosting and infrastructure providers, and the venue whose event you attended, which needs the order in order to fulfil it. Each receives only what its part requires.
We may also share information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
Only as long as the purposes above need, unless the law requires longer — transaction records, for instance, are held for the statutory accounting period. After that we delete it or strip it of anything that identifies you.
This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a minor has given us information, tell us and we will remove it.
You have the right to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to receive a copy in a portable form, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time, which does not affect what was done before you did.
To exercise any of these, write to privacy@pacepay.live. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.
Most browsers carry a Do-Not-Track setting. No standard for responding to it has been agreed, so we do not currently act on the signal. If that changes, this notice will say so.
Our providers may process information outside the country you are in. Where it leaves the European Economic Area we rely on the safeguards the GDPR provides for, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, so it keeps an equivalent level of protection.
We may update this notice. The current version is the one marked by the date at the head of this page, and it takes effect as soon as it is published. Where a change materially affects you, we will tell you more directly than by changing a date.
